ZOMBIES

Let's get one thing straight: I have loved zombies all my life, long before their current (as of 2004 or so) surge in popularity. I've been turning people into zombies since I was tall enough to reach my mom's make-up kit. Some of the ones I make today aren't much better than those first ones...but oh, how I do love them still. (And the ones in the distance at the back of the set don't have to be as intricate as the deadish folks in the foreground.)

Please, Hollywood, stop glutting the zombie market. You're ruining all the fun.

2004: The Costume Contest at Work

I came in second, but only because Jenny and Renae had a two-person gig going. Check out "Three Things" in the video section to see how we handled our triumph!

Grrrrrrr.
Yes, I had a very cool mohawk.
See, if you know me, and know that I always wrap my hair up around a pen, this is very funny.

...I missed.

Romero, eat your heart out.

Never mind; I'll do it.

Another fun day at the office.

2005: Rot-N-Chow

In October of 2005, one of my little dreams came true. I directed (and did the FX) for Rot-N-Chow, a short zombie script I'd written twenty years ago in high school. Funny thing was that it was always intended to be a Spur of the Moment Production, and it didn't get made until the SOTM group had reunited for that time in 05-06. Yay us. Check out the movie in the Video section (or just follow that link above).

Shawn the Zombie strikes a pose.

Drew the Zombie, agape (but then, he couldn't help it).

Zombies Love
Rot-N-Chow!

2006: Corvin an' me just messing around

We didn't have anything better to do that night. What a great night.

This is one of my favorite-est
pictures of me, EVER.
Corvin makes a very handsome zombie.
